The country of Greece and its numerous islands are home to absolutely beautiful landscapes, scenery, and weather.  Between eating very tasty lamb dishes, climbing the acropolis, and petting the numerous cats that are everywhere, I barely had time to visit the bead and jewelry shops throughout Athens!  Of course, the Greek key is the prevalent design in Greek jewelry, and much of it is in gold, but I did find many other interesting jewelry designs and components as well.  Some very colorful components I brought back include brilliant orange and yellow crackled glass beads, which I made into earrings.   You can feel like you’ve just toured the Greek islands and Athens yourself by wearing these earrings, located on the Earrings page under Greece.
